How to Be a Smart Affiliate Marketer – You Cannot Afford to Miss Out on These Strategies!

As the world now is embraced by advanced technologies, the number of affiliate marketers is growing by leaps and bounds as well. The increase of affiliate marketers, without any doubt, will increase the competitiveness between the marketers. Therefore, smart affiliate marketing methods are really essential in order to prevail in this competitive society.

The profits that you gain from affiliate marketing basically depend on how well you perform, and it is based purely on the results, hence it is an online channel that doesn’t have to come out of your marketing budget.

To achieve good results, firstly, the attractiveness of the advertised product is very essential. How you promote your products to your customers is always the first thing you should focus on. In order to increase your profits, you must have made your customers into “repeat customers”. “Repeat customers” means those customers keep coming back to view or purchased your products. The key to obtain such phenomenon is through appealing and attractive advertising.

Partnership and network is equally important in affiliate marketing. 80% of affiliate programs today use revenue sharing as compensation method. Revenue sharing refers to the sharing of profits and losses among different groups. This type of business alliances could further improve your profits if the method is used appropriately. Partners in affiliate programs not only have the incentive to drive traffic to your web site, but also propel more partners to sign on new affiliate partners.

Speaking of affiliate programs, the types of affiliate programs you use determine the success and failure of your business! Before joining a program, there are points to be pondered. Most importantly, the affiliate agreement must be read thoroughly and for your own sake, it’s better to save a copy for yourself as future reference. Other than that, the management of the program is vital. Check the management and establish a rapport can be of great benefit for they know the best way to promote their offers and they have the power to raise your commission.

With great effort, intelligence and a bit of luck, you’re on your way to a successful affiliate marketing business route.

Affiliate Marketing Strategies – 2 Steps to Find a Hot Niche, 3 Steps to Select a Winning Product

Confused about what to sell as an affiliate? Worried your affiliate marketing strategies will fail? Top affiliates sell what people are already buying. Here’s how to find a hot niche and winning product.

Two Steps to Selecting a Hot Niche

Go to ClickBank and choose one of the nine categories. Whichever one strikes your fancy works fine as you’ll find gold in all of them. Leave the keyword field empty and browse through the products using Sort by: Popularity. This will reveal which niches and products sell well.

1) Test interest level.

Look at the last item in the line under each product listed–grav. A big number after grav shows the niche has ready buyers. If you chose the computing and internet category in ClickBank, you may see a registry cleaner in the top spot and with a high grav number.

Test this with the Google keyword tool (KeywordToolExternal) where you search for a general term for the niche. Search for registry cleaners in the keyword tool. A monthly search volume of 5000 is good, more is great. Still looking good, right?

2) Test competition level.

First, look for at least three competing products in ClickBank. There are more than three registry cleaners.

Second, with your browser do a Google search for “registry cleaner” and see how many Google Ads appear on the right. Five or six ads indicate that affiliates make money from their ads. When I checked there were eight ads. You’re ready to find which product to pick.

Three Steps to Selecting a Winning Product

1) Look for healthy ClickBank statistics. See the line of symbols/numbers in the ClickBank search results you got before? Here’s what those notations mean to you.

  • $/sale — average amount earned per affiliate per sale, a number that can be driven down by refunds and chargebacks. If the number is less than the next number (we’ll get to that in a minute), it’s a signal that customers demand refunds. Not so good.
  • Total $/sale — Go for a minimum of $20 to profit from your affiliate marketing efforts.
  • %/sale — average percentage commission earned per affiliate per sale. You want at least 50%.
  • %refrd — fraction of product owner’s total sales that are referred by affiliates. You want to see 70-90% as that suggests lots of affiliates make a generous commission on this product.
  • grav: numerals — an estimate of the number of affiliates with at least one sale in the last 30 days. Look for a product with 50-100 which indicates affiliates do sell it, but not too many, so there’s room for you at the table.

When you find a product that has all the right numbers, and you will, go on to step two. ErrorFix and RegDefense numbers look good.

2) Look for a professional sales page.

A good sales page is crucial to your success. Visit the sales page, read it and see if it motivates YOU to buy. Some great products have lousy sales pages that turn off customers. Pass up a bad sales page. If you like the sales page, go on to step three. Luckily, most are good. ErrorFix and RegDefense sales pages look good.

3) Check for ready affiliate marketing tools.

Go to the product web site and check out the affiliates section. You don’t want to rely entirely on your own devices and have to invent enticements. More and more smart product owners supply you with a wide array of tools like PPC keywords, ad copy, email ad copy, banners and support. Both ErrorFix and RegDefense offer lots of tools–everything but sample articles.

So these two products pass all the tests. With these new affiliate marketing strategies on how to find a hot niche and select a winning product people already buy, you can finally succeed as an affiliate.

What Internet Marketing Services Are Available?

Internet marketing is a pretty broad term – encapsulating a whole host of different techniques.

However, in short, Internet marketing services are ultimately all about ensuring that your business’ online presence is one that is effective – successfully converting website traffic into sales.

Acting as an umbrella term for a variety of disciplines, there are a number of Internet marketing services that you might find; here are just some of the most important ones, explained:

Search Engine Optimisation –

Search engine optimisation is one of the most commonly found Internet marketing services out there. In basic terms, SEO is the process of optimizing a website so that it will be indexed higher up on an SERP (search engine results page).

This can involve creating backlinks, editing content so that it is more search engine friendly or editing HTML coding to increase the relevance to the keyword that is ultimately going to improve your rank.

Email Marketing –

Email marketing is a direct example of Internet marketing services, utilising the medium of email to promote a brand’s message. Successful email marketing campaigns will see relationships with existing customers significantly enhanced – whilst at the same time leading to the acquisition of new customers.

Campaigns will also promote sales activity amongst that existing customer base, as well as advertising new products.

Pay Per Click Marketing –

Pay per click marketing is another of the most used Internet marketing services. Typically pay per click marketing is a form of Internet advertising that utilises adverts to drive traffic to a website.

Google is one of the most common platforms for pay per click adverts, with ads being displayed on the SERP – depending on the relevance of the ad’s keywords to the original search term.

Microsoft adCenter, Yahoo! Search Marketing and Google AdWords are the biggest of the PPC (pay per click) providers out there – operating via a system where a user bids on a keyword that is relevant to their company’s market or industry.

Social Media Marketing –

One of the fastest growing areas of Internet marketing, social media marketing is another of those Internet marketing services that has become increasingly vital for businesses looking to grow in stature.

This practice will see advertisers promote new companies, products or services using social media platforms. Whilst many of the techniques that are applied in traditional marketing are present, social media’s huge popularity on the Internet makes it possible to reach a much larger market than ever before.

Social media marketing will typically utilise eye-catching content to create a buzz on social networks – such as Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare – with the ultimate aim of getting that content shared, as a result spreading the message.

Search Analytics –

Internet marketing services will sometimes take data and analyse it to allow a greater understanding of a number of processes – search analytics is just that.

Search analytics involves taking statistics provided by search engines – such as search volume trends, advert spending and keyword monitoring – to improve the overall performance of search engine marketing and search engine optimisation campaigns.
